Overview: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their Emergency Department (ED) - Level 1 Trauma Center. Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates! Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the region's first Magnet Hospital. It is a 525-bed medical center, serving as a primary teaching facility, and home to the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center within a 126-mile region. Our Norfolk General facility has four intensive care units and two in our 112-bed nationally ranked Heart Hospital. Norfolk General is a Comprehensive Certified Stroke Center, with a nationally ranked Urology Program and a dedicated Burn Trauma Unit. We provide heart, kidney, and pancreas transplants. The hospital also hosts the Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance for critical trauma care. The Emergency Department at Norfolk General is a 53-bed unit equipped to handle various medical emergencies, with approximately 10% trauma-related cases.

About Sentara Norfolk General Hospital: Located in Norfolk, VA, it is a 525-bed tertiary care facility with the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads. It is also the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
