This role offers the opportunity to teach and inspire Year 6 pupils, preparing them for their transition to secondary school, and to take on Middle Leadership responsibilities, shaping an area of school development and supporting colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Support and prepare Year 6 pupils for SATs and their transition to secondary school
  • Lead and develop a specific area of the curriculum or school improvement initiative
  • Provide support, mentoring, and guidance to colleagues as part of the Middle Leadership team
  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and school leadership to drive progress and achievement
  • Contribute to whole-school development and improvement strategies

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6
  • A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
