A rare opportunity for an Electro-Mechanical Product Manager to join a major company as they continue to expand and deliver innovative electro-mechanical components.

You will be overseeing the development and improvement of company products and leading the development of the product roadmap. You will play a key role in supporting a profitable growth strategy for company product lines and drive development activities and decisions that launch new products to market.

The Role:

  • Creating and enhancing products that fill a niche in the market or allow their clients to remain competitive
  • Researching legislation, industry codes, customer experiences and demands
  • Consulting market research materials and sales data to ensure that products are viable and competitive
  • Improving customer experiences through solution orientated engineering
  • Outlining a detailed product strategy
  • Managing cross-functional teams (internal and external)
  • Managing product road maps and releases
  • Understanding and communication of key product selling points
  • Identifying and filling product gaps
  • Generating new product ideas
  • Submitting proposals and designs for evaluation by the project team and management before moving to the next stage
  • Supporting manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products in development
  • Developing product pricing and positioning strategies

The Person:

  • Experience as a Product Manager within an electro-mechanical industry and in-depth knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, components, and technologies
  • Ideally will have experience within the Lift Industry or related sector
  • Experience of working with internal cross-functional teams including sales and engineering
  • Proven experience in product development and project management in Electro Mechanical fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Adaptability and a passion for staying ahead in a dynamic industry
  • Full understanding and ability to apply current and progressing industry regulations to products/services

Salary will be circa £65K plus car allowance and 10% bonus.
