Job Description
We are currently partnering with a market leading applied technology services provider to support a prominent well-respected Insurance company in their search for .NET Architect.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Design, Develop, and Maintain Solutions: Develop robust, scalable software solutions using Microsoft technologies, adhering to clean coding principles and design patterns.
- Integration of Third-Party Systems: Lead and support the integration of external systems and third-party APIs, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with security standards.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Engage in unit, integration, and system testing. Work collaboratively with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables, and proactively identify and resolve defects.
- Continuous Learning and Implementation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies, and proactively introduce innovations that improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Deployment and Support: Participate in application deployment activities, contribute to DevOps practices, and produce relevant support and user documentation to assist with maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate within Agile Teams: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and business analysts.
The ideal candidate should have;
- Experience in insurance architecture, preferably within the London Market.
- Familiarity with Policy Administration Systems (PAS) is desirable.
- Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C# for backend development.
- Practical experience working within Agile software development lifecycles.
- Understanding of Azure.
