An esteemed international investment management firm is seeking a highly capable and proactive Client Service Manager (DACH) to join their relationship management team. This is a high-impact role supporting a sophisticated portfolio of DACH-based institutional and wholesale clients across multiple asset classes.
The Client Service Manager (DACH) will act as the liaison for key accounts, playing a vital role in onboarding, relationship servicing, and internal coordination to ensure a seamless and personalised client experience.
Key Responsibilities of the Client Service Manager (DACH):- Lead and coordinate the onboarding of new institutional accounts, working closely with sales, legal, compliance, and investment teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for operational matters, ensuring exceptional service delivery and swift issue resolution.
- Oversee review and negotiation processes for investment guidelines, contracts, and regulatory documentation.
- Collaborate with product and portfolio management to resolve guideline-related queries.
- Customise and manage client reporting solutions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with unique client requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system, track transitions and feedback, and drive post-funding improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate communication of investment changes and product enhancements with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support client meeting preparation and attend in-person or virtual meetings as required.
- Work cross-functionally with global transitions, compliance, legal, operations, and reporting teams to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
- Proven experience in institutional client service or relationship management within asset or investment management (5+ years).
- Strong understanding of investment operations, account transitions, and regulatory documentation.
- Fluent in both English and German, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skills.
- Comfortable managing high volumes of complex information across multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new systems quickly.
- Academic background in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or MBA advantageous.
