Head of Litigation, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive

Location: Central London (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum, depending on experience

A well-established and forward-thinking legal practice in Central London is seeking an experienced Head of Litigation Solicitor to lead its dynamic litigation team. This is a pivotal role for a senior solicitor with a strong background in both civil and commercial litigation, looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of solicitors and support staff within the litigation department
• Oversee a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, ensuring high standards of client service and case management
• Develop and implement strategies in line with firm objectives
• Mentor and support junior team members, encouraging professional growth and development
• Maintain and grow client relationships through excellent communication and legal expertise
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the firm’s litigation practice

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years\’ PQE, with substantial experience in both civil and commercial litigation
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a legal team
• Strong technical knowledge, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident, client-facing manner with a commercial and strategic mindset
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment
