Gas Engineer Job Description To carry out the duties as a Gas Engineer in accordance with Statutory Regulations, Company policies, and Procedures. To assist the team in producing a quality product meeting the requirements of the contract and in a safe manner. Adhere to all requirements set by the SHEQ team, policy, and strategy. Ability to carry out servicing of gas appliances including boilers, fires, and cookers in a timely and safe manner. To carry out general breakdowns and have the ability to diagnose and repair to achieve first-time fix. Be part of an on-call rota to cover out-of-hours breakdowns as required. Key Responsibilities Carry out work safely on servicing, breakdowns, and installations. Maintain and care for all company tools and calibrated equipment. Use appropriate safety equipment. Wear appropriate clothing/uniform. Ensure work areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day. If a van is allocated, be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy. Hold keys for communal entrances and meter cupboards, and allow access where appropriate. Liaise with clients, consultants, contract administrators, and head office. Coordinate and order materials. Ensure accurate and timely completion of relevant site documentation. Use of a PDA or tablet. Undertake any training required by the business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
