Principal Engineer – PMS C&I (Software)
Location: Coventry. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop innovative, high-quality software products in line with recognised industry standards.
- Work within a multi-disciplined team using various tools and programming languages, engaging in all aspects of the software development cycle.
- Lead assurance and review activities, ensuring configuration, release, and documentation standards are met.
- Translate requirements into software designs, implement and test solutions, and manage integration, configuration, release, and deployment of the product.
- Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and fostering growth.
Your Skills and Experiences:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or a related subject.
- Chartered status or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal.
- Proven ability to lead small software teams or serve as a technical specialist.
