An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a growing team providing consultancy services to commercial, industrial and public sector clients in support of their sustainability goals. You will be a key member of a small, dynamic and multi-skilled team which delivers strategy, analytical and operational services across the energy and climate dimensions of sustainability.

The Role: As a Sustainability Consultant/Analyst you will be:
- Involved in the strategic development of the business area working in conjunction with other parts of the business – nationally and internationally
- Building and managing a pipeline of projects, including involvement on proposal submission and client prospect engagement
- Coordinating project delivery and liaising at senior level with other parts of the business
- Steering the analytical, technical, policy, and product development aspects of project work.
Desired Skills: The candidate will preferably have a range of the following key skills:
- Able to provide significant input on the design, development and delivery of products and services within the sustainability consulting team
- Proven record of working within teams in delivering large and net-zero/sustainability challenging projects
- Ability to produce GHG assessments for corporate scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
- Experience or understanding of modelling and quantitative analysis
- Experience of client delivery on the main sustainability reporting frameworks, standards and initiatives (e.g. CDP, SBTi, GHG Protocol, TCFD, GRI, plus latest ESG reporting developments)
- Experience of Python and other analytical tools highly desirable
- Highly numerate and analytical bachelor’s degree/ Masters in sustainability related discipline
- Excellent presentational, report-writing, and data visualisation skills
- Strong quantitative (carbon and financial) analytical and modelling skills
