Richard Irvin, an RSK Group company, is recruiting for a Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join the team based in Glasgow, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers, and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors across various industries. Our team is based throughout the UK, ensuring you’re never too far from the help you need.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
- Replace heating controls and components as per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Perform Combustion Performance Analysis on gas appliances as required.
- Investigate and diagnose faults using manufacturer’s technical literature.
- Attend to reported gas escapes and suspected fumes reports in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Domestic ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, DAH1, CPA1.
- Commercial ACS qualifications: COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CORT1, CIGA1.
- Demonstrate high standards of working practice and lead by example.
- Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations.
- Full clean and current driving licence.
