An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Installation Service Engineer to join a growing, well-established, and reputable family run business with a group turnover of £10m+. The company design and install a wide range of automated gates for homes and commercial properties along with parking barriers and traffic control systems throughout the UK. This is a field-based role, taking responsibility for the attendance, completion, and rectification of reactive, corrective, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) calls, logged upon receipt from customers and allocated by the Service Help Desk. Along with a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, you will also receive a productivity bonus which is uncapped, a pension scheme and 23 days holiday. As an Installation Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Installing new domestic and industrial Gate Automation Systems Undertaking the maintenance, servicing and repairs of existing automated gate and barrier systems. Reading job specification sheets, preparing all necessary equipment, and preparing for jobs by reading site plans, drawings, etc. Liaising with customers to keep them informed of progress. Adhering to all company safety standards and protocols. Working closely with other engineers and provide support and training to members of the team. We’re looking for a Service Engineer with: Previous field experience in service and maintenance of FAAC, DEA, CAME operating systems, and various intercoms access controls. Great technical knowledge. Experience with automated gates & barriers. A driving license. CSCS skilled worker certification. Relevant NVQ qualifications.
