You will be based from our central offices in Northampton, with the flexibility of hybrid working available. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £42,000 per annum for the right candidate. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day: Support with income tax matters and tax compliance working across co-sourcing arrangements with external service providers. This includes, but is not limited to, US GAAP, local statutory accounting, and Pillar 2. Support with cash tax payments and forecasting, R&D credits, tax audits and securing tax advice. Support the Tax team members in other corporate tax matters such as tax planning, tax audits and transfer pricing, primarily (but not necessarily exclusively) for the UK & Ireland. What you need to succeed at GXO: ACA, CTA, CPA (or equivalent) with good corporate tax knowledge, VAT experience would also be beneficial. Tax Management experience in a Big-4, or in-house tax function Skilled in US GAAP/IFRS/French GAAP tax accounting with good understanding of topics such as IAS 12, deferred tax positions, valuation allowances, and working with third party auditors. Good analytical skills and ability to interpret the impact of tax legislation on the business, along with a commercial and business awareness. Skilled user of ERP systems (such as SAP and/or Oracle/HFM) and Tax Software (such as Longview). Good communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to liaise with cross-functional teams. We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
