We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nutritionist – Maternity Cover to join our team. Role and Context You will be a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the overall success and culture of the business. Inspire the Exec chef and development team to create nutritious menus that are healthy, seasonal, and local whenever possible. Ensure all legal requirements, including allergens, nutritional info, calorie counts, and Natasha Law procedures, are realized and delivered across the company. Create and deliver a learning platform to improve nutritional knowledge for both customers and employees. Support the Exec chef teams in producing high-quality food by showcasing and improving nutritional menu management and knowledge. Participate in developing new recipes and concepts, guiding the nutritional and balanced aspects of content. Oversee policy development regarding the healthy eating strategy, coordinating adherence through marketing, social media, purchasing, and recipe development. Need to do Support the evaluation of food strategies to meet future nutritional requirements, enabling sales and contract growth. Analyze recipes on all company platforms for macro and micro nutrients, making recommendations and adjustments. Recommend creative food propositions that align with client wishes, providing full nutritional analysis where needed. Monitor the recipe system for accuracy, correct labelling, and upload new nutritional concepts. Ensure menus, marketing, and statements comply with legal parameters, especially health claims. Stay updated on nutritional legislation and maintain relevant memberships in nutritional bodies. Communicate recognition and achievements for chefs and teams in conjunction with Operations and HR. Disseminate timely nutritional information via internal platforms to enhance knowledge and benefits. Deliver workshops and training to promote nutritional knowledge. Qualification Proven success in menu compilation within a comparable sector or organization of similar size. Desirable: Experience in contract or catering services. Skills/Knowledge Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience. Food Safety Level 2 minimum. Health and Safety Level 2 minimum. Proficient IT skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience managing nutritional e-platforms, particularly “Nutritics,” is an advantage. Need to be Trustworthy and discreet. Strong client-facing presentation skills for high-level discussions. Committed to developing skills and knowledge. Analytical with confidence in making recommendations.
