Executive Director, LAF and Private Credit (Germany or France) Pay Competitive Location London/England Employment type Full-Time Job Description Req#: 29211 Key Responsibilities Maintain awareness of the group business strategy of servicing clients by leveraging our footprint and building franchise. Originate and lead LAF transactions, focused on Europe, working with client teams and across products to cross-sell and execute deals. Organize and drive business success through improvement in client penetration and profitability in conjunction with coverage partners. Support the continued growth of the High Yield and leveraged loan business. Tie in with overall client / segment strategy with CIC. Product revenue & LT positions, contribute to SCB’s market share. Ensure transaction structures are in line with client requirements, market standards and the Bank’s internal risk parameters. Monitor and deliver financial performance targets, optimizing risk and return. Deal pre-screening and identifying potential high yield bond and leveraged loan opportunities. Deal execution and closure. Post execution monitoring / client management. Manage business and risk management process issues by interacting (where required) with representatives on various risk, governance and control committees. Qualifications Degree educated in a Finance/ Mathematical field (preferred) and/or Extensive proven experience in a recognised financial institution originating and executing Leveraged and Acquisition Finance deals Established knowledge of markets and products Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance obligations Fluency in written and verbal business English European language would be ideal but not required About Standard Chartered We\’re an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
