McCarthy Stone Care & Support Assistant Role McCarthy Stone is recruiting a professional Care & Support Assistant to join our team at the prestigious Bowes Lyon Court development in Poundbury, Dorset. Built in 2016, Bowes Lyon Court is a Retirement Living Plus development with 62 apartments designed for the over 70s, offering excellent on-site facilities within beautiful grounds. Salary and Benefits Hourly rate: £12.80 per hour, with potential to earn up to an additional £1.30 for evening and weekend shifts. Your duties include housekeeping, domestic support, encouraging participation in activities, assisting with appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and helping with shopping. Every day offers diverse opportunities to make a positive impact using your people skills. About You You are warm, friendly, and ideally have some experience in care or support roles. You are passionate about enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working as part of a team. You are committed to delivering excellent customer service. You are interested in working in the Health and Social Care sector and preferably hold a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification; however, relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
