Our client is an ambitious Alt-Net aiming to connect 25,000 new homes in 2025. They are seeking a Fibre Planner to help achieve this goal and support their expansion and innovation in broadband delivery. The company is transforming network rollout strategies and investing in technology to enhance connectivity. The leadership team encourages innovation and values smarter approaches, with the CEO backing new ideas. Responsibilities include: Ensuring fibre projects are delivered accurately, on time, and according to design specifications Coordinating and scheduling planning tasks across multiple projects Prioritising workloads and monitoring planning activities Owning planning processes from execution to delivery Producing detailed fibre network maps for civils, fibre build, and customer installs Supporting field teams with mapping and planning data Liaising with internal teams, external partners, and third parties Planning and coordinating network changes, upgrades, and expansions Ensuring planning aligns with design standards and methodologies Skills and requirements include: Deep understanding of end-to-end fibre network build processes Strong motivation and ability to meet key performance indicators Proven success in telecom project delivery or planning roles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with GIS platforms and mapping tools Proficiency with desktop planning tools and processes Ability to prepare detailed job packs for engineering and build teams The role offers a company pension scheme and a salary of up to £40,000 per annum.
