Our client who is a Reinsurance company is looking for a Claims Examiner to join their expanding Claims team in the London office. The purpose of the role is to adjust a portfolio of Reinsurance and Direct claims. Main Duties: * Handle a mix of Marine, Aviation, and Non-Marine Claims to include Casualty, Property, PI/ FI, Credit & Political Risks, and Motor * Technical evaluation, analysis & negotiation of claims * Process and administer claims to department * Face to face claim related discussions with brokers & usage of current market systems & repositories. * Extensive liaison with other departments including executive, underwriters, actuaries & accounting. * Client/ Broker meetings, discussions, reviews & audits. * Liaison with instructed legal representatives & other experts as necessary Essential Skills Required: * Previous experience within a similar Insurance Claims role * Good knowledge of handling Reinsurance claims * \”Lead\” / Lead mentality with the requisite technical knowledge. * Fully conversant with ECF / CLASS & London Market systems & procedures. * Ability to work in a busy environment with ability complete daily tasks/volume plus other project work from time to time Desirable: * Good organisation skills * Excellent communication skills * Computer literate What you need to know: * Permanent role * Based in London – Hybrid 3 days in office/ 2 days WFH * Salary between £60,000 – £85,000 * A great opportunity to join a growing organisation with lots of training and development opportunities. * A very inclusive and fair opportunities employer REF: 9672 Interested?
