KEY ACTIVITIES
- Co-develops a Data Framework to ensure data aspects of solution design and delivery meet business requirements and are compliant with strategy, policies and standards.
- Identifies solution strengths and weaknesses related to data aspects, advises on steps to mitigate weaknesses in design and delivery.
- Augments a metadata model and documents metadata flows required to integrate the control domains with the operational and analytical domains.
- Ensures the data specification and design provides a best of breed solution for the enterprise immediately and into the future.
- Co-creates and delivers Comms strategy and material to accelerate the client adoption of the Data Framework.
- Acts as a Data Evangelist and assists client stakeholders at all levels to adopt and adapt the framework.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience of building a Data Governance and Management Framework to ensure that data models and control domains prevail in system delivery.
- Experience of using metadata to define, control and monitor delivery of data capabilities.
- Working knowledge and experience of Agile delivery and a variety of technical architectures including Relational DBs, Cloud, NoSQL, Messaging and API SOA.
- Working knowledge of various tools including data visualisation, Reference Data & Master Data Management.
- Experience in developing conceptual, logical, physical, and metadata data models that support Business requirements.
- Direct experience of Data Governance and Management and its interaction with delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensuring the overall Data Framework provides delivered components that are best in breed both functionally and non-functionally.
- Creation and maintenance of self-service documentation for the adoption and implementation of the Data Framework.
- Data modelling and metadata implementation aspects conform to and support data design and delivery.
- Data Framework delivered data patterns are compliant with client Policies & Standards.
