As the Pub Manager, you'll be at\\nthe heart of an energetic pub team, leading with clear direction and plenty of\\nmotivation. You'll inspire your team to hit their goals and keep up high\\nstandards by showing them how it’s done! You'll be hands-on with performance, offering\\nfeedback to help your team grow, tackling any challenges, and supporting their\\ndevelopment. Managing resources like budgets and tools will be key to keeping\\nthings running smoothly. You'll also be the driving force behind fantastic\\nguest experiences, continuously improving how we interact and solving any\\nissues that pop up. Plus, you'll make sure everything stays safe, compliant,\\nand on point with company policies. 

Key Responsibilities 
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate,\\nand support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.  
Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier\\nguest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a\\nwelcoming atmosphere.  
Performance Management: Monitor\\nindividual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and\\nconducting performance reviews.  
Resource Management: Oversee staff\\nscheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business\\nneeds.  
Adhering to J D Wetherspoon’s standard operating\\nprocedures (SOPs) and company policies
Problem Solving: Quickly resolve\\nany operational issues that arise, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.  
Training and Development: Support\\nstaff development through ongoing training, mentoring, and creating growth\\nopportunities.  

Requirements  
– Proven experience in roles such as Pub\\nManager, General Manager or a similar leadership position. 
– Strong leadership and communication skills. 
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment\\nwhile maintaining attention to detail. 
– Exceptional customer service and\\nproblem-solving abilities. 
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations. 
– Strong organisational and multitasking\\nskills. 
– Experience in budgeting and financial\\nmanagement. 
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and\\nholidays.
