A prestigious and award-winning investment firm based in Mayfair is expanding its internal IT function. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious IT Support Analyst to work directly with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
You will support the core IT infrastructure, contribute to system upgrades and projects, and help maintain a secure and stable environment across networking, systems, and end-user services.
Your Role:
A hands-on support position that blends first-line and second-line troubleshooting with involvement in technical project delivery. You will act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues while also contributing to infrastructure enhancements and documentation improvements.
Key Responsibilities
User Support & Troubleshooting
- Act as the go-to contact for all IT-related user issues and service requests
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related problems
- Maintain clear documentation of issues, resolutions, and escalation processes
Infrastructure Support
- Support enterprise systems including Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and VMware
- Monitor and troubleshoot networking issues with Cisco routers and switches
- Assist with patching, backups, system health checks, and preventative maintenance
Project Work & Upgrades
- Contribute to internal IT projects including migrations, upgrades, and system optimisations
- Assist in reviewing infrastructure performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Document project deliverables, system configurations, and support processes
What You Bring
- Proven experience in an IT support role within a fast-paced environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, Microsoft365, Windows, AD, and VMware
- Clear troubleshooting skills and ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and strong documentation habits
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCP, MCSE, or VCP are advantageous
