Our dynamic team is on a mission to transform real estate lending, underpinned by cutting-edge technology. For our growing German business, we are seeking a German ‘Lending & Development Analyst’ to join the team in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence of a wide variety of businesses in Germany.
- Analyse key items such as financial accounts, property valuations, credit searches, bank statements, and business appraisals to make informed lending decisions.
- Analyse construction/development budgets and appraisals.
- Price loans and determine terms, considering relevant risk and liquidity factors.
- Protect the company by having a good grasp of its policies, procedures and compliance guidelines and by having a good awareness of risk.
- Own your own loan book, assuring high standards of service and risk management.
Requirements:
- Preferably two years or more of underwriting experience in the bridging, development or commercial lending sector.
- A good understanding of assessing credit risk on loan applications, borrowing structures, RICS valuations, land registry records, reports on title and conveyancing and credit reports.
- Good writing, analytical and numerical skills.
- An excellent communicator both written and verbal in English and German.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
