An expert in the ticketing and live event landscape of their region, this role is responsible for introducing innovative new products to market, driving product adoption, and achieving consistent global outcomes for clients. The Director, VIP Partnerships is an expert on all relevant TM products and services, representing them to our partners, educating the artist community, and helping them reach their touring and business goals. This role acts as an advocate of the artist within Ticketmaster, representing their interests, making decisions on their behalf, and working within Ticketmaster to meet/exceed the established goals for the tour. This role is relied upon to provide critical insight into the touring business as a whole, introducing key priorities, and driving decision-making. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Maintain a highly visible and positive presence for Ticketmaster within the artist community, developing strong, consultative relationships with key VIP Providers along with their respective ticketing and marketing staff. Support the Senior Director, VIP Partnerships in developing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ticketmaster Music’s VIP line of business, working across various cross-functional teams to ensure our needs are understood and prioritized. Serve as a key stakeholder in the development and rollout of new products and services within your region. Provide thorough and comprehensive assessment of the viability of new and emerging products, partnering with internal teams to determine market fit, define client value proposition, operational requirements, and go-to-market strategy. Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups, including, but not limited to, finance, legal, marketing, event and marketplace operations, data teams, product, and engineering, to support VIP business goals and initiatives, develop and implement new processes and procedures. Directly train and manage junior VIP partnerships team members, empowering them with the skillset necessary to independently onboard, manage, and develop their respective client accounts. Lead business strategy, growth, and development for key UK/IE/EMEA VIP accounts, becoming a specialist in their unique needs and mapping those to Ticketmaster product and technology solutions. Responsible for overall client satisfaction, supporting hundreds of tours per year. Act as first line of support for day-to-day client needs, working closely VIP partners on everything from onboarding to settlement. Define the KPIs for your key accounts, with an emphasis on client adoption and configuration of our Ticketmaster Music product suite. Monitor, assess, and report on progress to both internal and external leadership on an ongoing basis, identifying potential choke points or opportunities for development. Assist with administrative departmental functions such as monthly reporting, invoicing, contracts, and information gathering, as needed. Ensure correct, timely and accurate delivery of such reports. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS) Bachelor’s degree and proven years of music industry experience Previous experience at a ticketing company, music label, DSP, management company or talent agency preferred Existing relationships with VIP Packagers, key promoters, artist managers and agents preferred. Proven years of HOST and Microflex ticketing system experience preferred. Competency with Microsoft Excel preferred Competency with TM1 reporting suite preferred Self-starter, with a bias toward action and execution Passion for music Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Salesforce experience a plus. Must be able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently. Must have exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Must conduct all matters and communications in a professional and courteous manner as a representative of the company. Must be a proactive problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small.
