Our client has a well-resourced corporate heritage and is keen to capitalise upon the next generations interpretation of what luxury could and might be. The years of acceptance of just the market standard have been truly blown away and our client markets both their own named brand alongside offering a bespoke luxury watch personalisation service. Recognised as the industries foremost specialist in this latter mentioned area, their mission is to ensure that βluxuryβ returns to representing just that β with the wearer being able to uniquely stand out from the crowd.
Within their London brand centre, they have a dedicated workshop and todayβs need is to identify a Senior Watchmaker able to contribute to this departments ongoing development & market presence.
Job Role:
- Working with a junior colleague you will ensure the ever-constant flow of work is actioned in a timely and well-prioritised manner. Apart from your bench expertise, you will also attend to deliveries and all related administration.
- It is refreshingly a multi-faceted bench challenge β which will see you split across three main functions. The first is being involved with the development of and ensuring the readiness for sale as to the businesses own-sold watch brand. Followed by the implementation of customisation requests that are frequently specified by ultra-selective clientele on certain stocked models/permitted luxury brands. Together with the final element, selectively servicing previously sold items of horology for VIP clientele.
Requirements:
- You need to possess all the obvious technical qualities and bench experience β our client appreciates accreditation wherever it has been amassed and this role does afford opportunity for thoughtful input above and beyond the usual/customary appointment expectation. Personally, you need to enjoy being a pivotal team member and revel in being involved in an emerging increasingly fashionable speciality business that delivers expertise in a manner at present not matched elsewhere.
