Our client, a prestigious Solicitors firm with offices in the heart of Lancaster and surrounding areas, is seeking a skilled Agricultural Solicitor to join their highly-regarded team. With an excellent base of clients, many of whom they have represented over several generations, our client offers an outstanding opportunity for career growth and development.
As an Agricultural Solicitor, you will have the chance to work closely with leading Partners who are experts in their field. You will provide legal services to farmers, landowners, estates, and agri-businesses, supporting them on a diverse range of non-contentious matters within the Agricultural and Estates sector.
The successful candidate will have experience in handling Agricultural and Estates related property transactions, including buying and selling land, farms, woodlands, and landed estates. You will also have knowledge of agricultural secured lending, negotiating documents for renewable energy projects, agricultural tenancies and easements, and option and pre-emption agreements. Familiarity with related areas such as commons, mines and minerals, and sporting rights would be desirable.
To thrive in this role, you must be a team player and possess excellent communication skills. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a broad range of clients and other agricultural professionals, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
