Our client is one of Scotland’s leading law firms. For over 100 years, our client has specialised in meeting the legal, financial and administrative needs of individuals and families, trusts, charities and private companies. We are currently searching for an NQ Solicitor (3-5 years PQE) to join an established team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise high-net-worth individuals and family businesses on wealth protection, succession planning, tax planning, and philanthropic objectives, including the use of trusts, partnerships, and family investment companies.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents relating to family and business governance, corporate structuring, asset protection, and tax-efficient estate planning, while collaborating with clients’ existing advisers.
  • Support clients in business continuity and succession planning, helping to navigate complex family dynamics, conflict resolution, and long-term governance strategies.
  • Manage a personal caseload proactively, contribute to team-wide goals, maintain accurate records, and adhere to firm policies on financial management, compliance, and AML requirements.
  • Develop and maintain professional networks, actively promoting the firm through external engagements, and contribute content (articles, blogs) to elevate the firm’s market presence.
  • Stay current on developments in private client law, participate in ongoing training, and collaborate cross-functionally with accountants, wealth planners, tax advisers, and lawyers to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
