The Role
My client is looking to recruit an experienced facilities engineer. You will have served a formal apprenticeship in engineering with a strong appreciation of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance. The position is based on days requiring a proactive maintenance engineer with experience of all facilities including a variety of plant machinery, carrying out checks, civil works, and boilers, as well as some Refrigeration & HVAC equipment, also fire alarms, sprinklers, plumbing and general maintenance work. On a day to day basis, you will be working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules along with assisting production when required. The role requires a logical approach to maintenance and the ability to lead from the front when required. Longer term opportunities also exist to progress technically at this site to grow the role in line with your expectations.
