As a vital member of our Children's Safeguarding Team, you'll:
- Assess and assist families during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
- Work alongside various agencies to safeguard children and mitigate risks.
- Handle a diverse caseload including Child in Need, Child Protection, and court proceedings, with full support from your team and management.
To be considered for this role, you ideally will have:
- 1+ year of experience in a similar social work setting.
- BSc Social Work or equivalent.
- Social Work England registration.
- Strong knowledge of child-focused, relationship-based, and systemic practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including participation in a duty rota.
- A solid understanding of the risks faced by children in care and the procedures to address them.
