Role

Position: Support/Care Worker • Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire • Company: Lifeways Group • Type: Permanent • Salary: 12.60 per hour • Post code: LN8 3PE

The service operates in Osgodby and the surrounding area. A driver is required as the service has a mobility car. The shift times are 08:00 to 22:00 with a sleep-in; this would typically be two shifts one week, three the next, with one weekend on and one weekend off.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries or mental health conditions to help them lead more independent lives.
• Work within Lifeways care plans and policies to promote wellbeing and safety.
• Engage individuals in daily activities, support with routines, and encourage community living where appropriate.

Qualifications and requirements

• Previous experience in Care/Support Work is preferred; Lifeways offers training and ongoing support to develop skills.
• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required for this service.
• Availability to work the stated shifts, including sleep-ins and weekend work.
