We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Communications Specialist to join our Learning, Development & Engagement team in a new role. This is a great opportunity to shape how colleagues stay informed, feel connected to our purpose, and engage with what’s happening across the business. You’ll lead on planning and delivering clear, engaging internal communications that bring our culture to life, support business priorities, and help teams feel aligned and in the loop. What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Head of Development & Engagement to refine and execute a structured internal communications strategy.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to align internal communications with talent brand activities.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to shape and deliver key messages, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Create and curate engaging content across various formats, including written articles, video, and visual content, ensuring it resonates with our diverse colleague base.
- Manage communication platforms such as email, MS Teams, and Thrive, ensuring that these channels are optimized for maximum engagement.
- Simplify complex business information and initiatives, translating them into clear and actionable messages for colleagues.
- Proactively seek feedback from colleagues to continuously improve communication methods and effectiveness.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in an internal communications role within a small-to-medium enterprise where cross-functional collaboration is key, and communications are tailored to reach diverse employee groups across different departments and locations.
- Strong storytelling ability with a knack for making complex or detailed business information clear and engaging for all employees.
- A deep understanding of internal communication channels and a strategic approach to using them effectively.
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence through communication.
- Comfort with managing multiple priorities, delivering impactful communications in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrable ability to take complex ideas or business changes and simplify them into digestible, engaging communications that are easy for employees to understand and act on.
