A leading UK wealth and investment management firm is hiring for a newly created Advice Proposition Manager role to own and evolve its suite of financial planning services. This is a critical position working across multiple departments to enhance the effectiveness, client experience, and regulatory strength of the firm’s advice offering.
This firm is a trusted name in wealth management, offering integrated financial planning, tax advice, protection, and discretionary investment services. They operate with a strong client-first culture and a long-term focus, serving affluent and high-net-worth individuals across the UK.
You’ll oversee a portfolio of advice propositions (pensions, ISAs, protection, offshore bonds), ensuring they are aligned to regulatory expectations (e.g., Consumer Duty, PROD), commercially sound, and delivering exceptional outcomes to clients. This is a standalone position at first, but with high levels of internal visibility and a natural progression route into broader leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Ownership of all advice service propositions from design to delivery
- Leading regulatory governance (value assessments, target market reviews)
- Optimising the client journey and user experience
- Ensuring commercial competitiveness, pricing logic, and cost efficiency
- Collaborating with advice teams, compliance, marketing, and operations
- Acting as the internal subject matter expert on advice services and market dynamics
- Background in advice proposition, financial planning, or product ownership
- Technical understanding of wealth management products (pensions, ISAs, bonds, protection)
- Strong knowledge of Consumer Duty, MiFID, COLL, and related FCA frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Prior experience in a private bank or large national wealth manager is desirable
