Finitas is working with a leading insurer on their search for a Data & Analytics Solutions Consultant. You will be responsible for establishing a high-performing data and analytics technology framework, aligning with strategic goals and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role works closely with stakeholders, developers, and third-party partners to promote best practices in data architecture and business intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sustainable, flexible, and reusable data solutions aligned with industry best practices
- Act as a strategic advisor and solution partner for data initiatives
- Promote trust and confidence in data through high-quality solutions
- Guide and enforce development standards (e.g., conformed code)
- Evaluate and implement leading data technologies and practices
- Define BI technology roadmap with architecture teams and stakeholders
- Manage third-party data relationships and challenge when necessary
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Design and implement robust databases, data models, schemas, and security structures
- Deliver integrated data solutions aligned with enterprise architecture
Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, Informatica, Tableau, and cloud-based technologies
- Familiarity with Master Data Management, data governance, semantic and process modelling
- Experience with APIs, in-memory computing, data quality tools, and modern data platforms
- Insurance industry experience
- Proven track record in delivering scalable data solutions and supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives
- Degree-level education with relevant technical or analytical focus
