This Events & Marketing Coordinator opportunity is positioned within an innovative US legal firm and will be a a key team member within the Marketing Department, supporting the end-to-end delivery of a range of client-facing and internal events that align with the firm’s business development strategy. Working closely with partners, fee-earners, and the wider business development and marketing team, the role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality events that reflect the firm’s brand and values. The Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Business Development and Marketing.
- Event Planning and Execution : Organize and support seminars, webinars, and receptions for clients and internal audiences.
- Logistics Management : Handle venue sourcing, vendor management, speaker communications, catering, AV needs, and event follow-up.
- Calendar and Resource Management : Maintain an events calendar and manage resources to meet critical deliverables.
- Budget and Financial Management : Support event budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and process invoices.
- Mailing Lists : Develop and maintain GDPR-compliant mailing lists.
- Promotions : Create event invitations and coordinate website and social media promotions.
- Meetings Coordination : Manage pre-planning and debriefing meetings.
- Metrics and Reporting : Track event metrics, monitor attendance, and collect feedback.
- Sponsorship Opportunities : Identify and leverage event and sponsorship opportunities.
- Client Hospitality : Coordinate event ticket and merchandise requests.
- Communications : Produce and distribute client and internal communications.
- Collateral Materials : Collaborate with the creative team to produce supporting materials.
- Content Creation : Assist in drafting lawyer bios, practice area descriptions, and social media content.
