Credit Controller

SF Recruitment is working exclusively with a dynamic and commercially focused accounting firm with 30+ offices across the UK. Offering their clients the best in class service across Tax, Audit and Consulting. They have a high performing accounts function supporting the business, including a Credit Team of 8 in Birmingham who are Headed up by a highly well thought of Fellow member of the CICM.

Your new role

• Proactively engage with clients and internal stakeholders to drive the timely collection of outstanding fees.
• Identify and manage exposure risk.
• Utilise all communication tools available to manage your client portfolio (predominantly verbally).
• Working with the team to meet both internal targets but also to meet client SLAs and KPIs
• Managing and escalating risk and queries
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Allocating cash and payments
• Updating client information and Credit check reviews.

What you\’ll need

• 2+ years\’ experience in Credit Control
• Professional service experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and ability to build report with customers and internal stakeholders is key
• Good system skills, including Excel
