Warehouse & Product Decontamination Operatives
Location: Exeter, Devon
Pay Rate: Β£12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00β17:00 or Tuesday to Saturday, 09:00β18:00
gap personnel are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives and Product Decontamination Operatives on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation in Exeter. These roles offer a great opportunity to join a supportive team within an essential healthcare service. Temporary positions with potential to become permanent.
Duties

Coordinate equipment orders for delivery, installation, and collection.

Pick, check and prepare stock accurately.

Identify and report any order or stock discrepancies.

Support technicians with selecting and recording stock.

Handle equipment used by individuals with different needs and vulnerabilities.

Receive and inspect returned medical equipment.

Clean and disinfect items such as beds, mattresses, and mobility aids to infection control standards.

Use approved cleaning products and follow safety procedures.

Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant.

Report faults or damage to the relevant team

What We\βre Looking For:

Experience in a busy warehouse or logistics environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

IT literate and able to learn new systems.

Stock control experience (advantageous but not essential)

Previous professional cleaning experience (healthcare or industrial preferred).

Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards (training provided).

Reliable, physically fit, and able to handle heavy items safely.

Good attention to detail and team-focused attitude.
