The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a permanent Electrician role based in Inverness. This role will be based on a 37 hour a week contract, with the opportunity for overtime and standby payments.

The Electrician will undertake cyclic and reactive repairs to electrical street lighting. The successful applicant will work within shift requirements and participate in an emergency standby rota. This role also occasionally requires periods away from the operational base.

Role includes:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently to minimise disruptions to road users.
  • Adhering to safety standards and regulations to uphold the safety of the public and your team.
  • Providing technical expertise and recommendations for continuous improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Familiar with the standard of BS7671.
  • Previous experience of inspecting and maintaining private electrical supplies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to perform efficiently under demanding conditions.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical safety regulations and practices.
  • Willingness to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • UK driving licence.
  • Mewps ticket or IPAF highly desirable.
