We are looking for an established Technical Project Manager to join the team. You will have previous experience in a technical production role and experience of dealing directly with clients.
Premier Production is one of the UK's leading technical production companies offering lighting, audio, video, staging, special effects and technical production services. Working across a variety of sectors including corporate events, festivals, concerts and venues, clients include BBC, UEFA, Birmingham City Football Club and Aston University plus many more.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of all physical build and technical elements of our projects. This will involve planning and arranging technical requirements and kit, managing production sites, on-site teams and suppliers and ensuring that all health and safety and quality requirements are met.
Salary: £40-45k depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete technical lifecycle of projects from initial planning to execution, ensuring all technical requirements are fulfilled
- Taking a client brief and planning the technical requirements such as staging, lighting and sound that are required to deliver the project
- Attending and conducting site visits as necessary
- Ensuring the necessary resources are allocated to the project including crew and kit
- Completing production documents to ensure crew receive all the required information
- Supporting with any health and safety requirements and ensuring all risk assessments and method statements are completed as necessary
- Ensure financial efficiency of projects by monitoring costs and profit margins
- Resolve any on-site issues related to technical setups, equipment, or logistics, making immediate decisions to keep projects on schedule
Key Skills and Experience:
- A proven track record of technical project management experience in the live events industry ideally within a technical production company
- Full understanding of equipment and technical setups for live events including audio, lighting, staging, screen and special effects
- Experience with budgeting, reconciling and negotiating all scale of projects
- Able to understand and interpret technical drawings and have a basic use of CAD programs
- Working knowledge of current UK and European Health and Safety regulations
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to resolve issues related to technical execution or logistics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as necessary
