Description: Dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager required by our market leading aviation systems and solutions specialist provider. Previous Aviation sector experience is essential. Our client has been established for more than three decades and specialises in the supply of services, systems, and solutions related to the aviation industry. Due to continued success and strategic growth, they are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join their professional sales team. Based in North East England, serving customers in over 50 countries, the successful candidate will identify new business opportunities within the company\’s product portfolio, targeting both existing and new clients in airports and operational environments. The role primarily focuses on UK customers to identify Air Traffic Control systems needs, with occasional international travel. Most communication will be via email and phone until agreements are finalized. You will manage sales logistics using standard documents and collaborate with technical experts for complex solutions, ensuring optimal product selection. You will act as the interface between customers and the technical team, working flexibly and sometimes outside regular hours. Building trust and understanding customer needs are crucial, requiring in-depth knowledge of the market, client organisations, and technological solutions to offer the best options. Core responsibilities include promoting ATC product sales, maintaining comprehensive product knowledge, developing long-term client relationships, and preparing quotations and proposals. You will also manage support and maintenance contracts, and oversee the sales and customer database. You will work with marketing partners to create and execute campaigns, including digital marketing and social media management, to enhance brand awareness and generate leads. Managing the company\’s online presence, including website content and email campaigns, is also part of the role. The target sales for this position are £2.10M annually within Air Traffic Systems.
