The Team: Genetec is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire a Legal Counsel to join our well-established Legal Department. Under the supervision of the Associate General Counsel, you will concentrate your activities on employment and corporate matters in close collaboration with Genetec’s Human Resources and Finance departments.

What your day will look like:

  • Participating in the fast expansion of Genetec’s global footprint by supporting various departments, including regional operations, Human Resources and Finance.
  • Managing the process of incorporating new subsidiaries around the world, and also be responsible for the maintenance requirements of all our current subsidiaries worldwide, including replying to compliance requests, assisting with annual filings and preparing intercompany agreements.
  • Supporting the various regional Human Resources departments by drafting new region-specific employment contracts and policies to meet local requirements, and also be responsible for the upkeep of all existing regional contract templates and policies.
  • Working in close collaboration with the Human Resources department in managing international mobility efforts.

About you:

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Even better if you have these assets:

  • Experience working with multinational companies and international legal matters.
  • Familiarity with employment laws in different regions.
  • Exposure to corporate governance, subsidiary management, and compliance.
