Uniquely balanced, well-compensated, and flexible position for an ambitious and autonomous, experienced architect. This associate-level role in an established London-based practice requires working on high-end residential projects around the UK and across Europe. The position allows for flexible working and considerate working hours.

Salary: £45,000 to £52,000 depending on experience

Working hours: 9am-6pm with one hour lunch break

25 days holiday (plus public holidays)

Minimum requirements:

  • ARB registered
  • English level C1 (Advanced)
  • Strong Vectorworks skills
  • Five years or more post-Part III practice in the UK
  • Thorough knowledge of JCT Contracts and administration processes
  • Fully conversant with the UK Building Regulations, Planning Policies, and Party Wall Act 1996
  • Good project running skills (with proven track record) and time management
  • Experience in the private residential sector
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to deliver a project from the detailed design stages to completion, through to snagging and making good of defects
  • Design and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Client management skills and experience
