Main Responsibilities Of The Job

• The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to all PPM and reactive tasks at Checkout.com.
• Be competent in electrical and mechanical works.
• Communicate with and organise external contractors, along with managing compliance issues on the site.
• This is a hands-on role that is ideal for anyone looking to expand their knowledge in the FM environment.

Location: London

Salary: Up to £38,000

Job Description / Main Purpose:

1. To receive reactive and PPM tasks from elog books.
2. To ascertain the materials required and request these from the relevant Account Manager.
3. To discuss and plan with the relevant staff for carrying out the tasks.
4. To determine exact specifications for tasks, possibly by discussion with the Account Manager using working drawings or plans.
5. To refer any arising issues to your Account Manager and report on completion of each task.
6. To undertake urgent building services maintenance and repair tasks as they arise.
7. To use all equipment and materials in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
8. To keep client and company tools and equipment in good order and report any faults.
9. General day-to-day running of the site.

Knowledge and Experience:

Vocational and technical skills are desirable. An NVQ level qualification in plumbing or electrical work would be advantageous but not essential.

The candidate should have experience in building maintenance and construction practices, especially concerning Health & Safety.

Interpersonal Skills:

Must use tact and diplomacy when dealing with client personnel and visitors to gain cooperation.
