Job Description:

Whitehall Resources requires a Back Up & Storage Technical SME with SC Clearance to work with a key client on a 3-month initial contract.

*Inside IR35.

*This role involves 20% on-site work in London.

*Active SC clearance is required; NPPV3 clearance is desired.

Role Description:

Storage Role:

• Experienced Enterprise Storage Engineer with recent experience designing/configuring at least two of the following Dell Storage platforms:

• Dell PowerStore
• Dell Unity
• Dell PowerScale or Isilon
• Dell ECS

• Experience configuring Dell (Cisco SAN fabrics).

• Preferably experience in writing low-level storage design or configuration documentation.

Backup Role:

• Experienced Enterprise Backup Engineer with recent experience designing/configuring NetBackup Software solutions, preferably up to version 10.x.

• Experience with Veritas NetBackup Appliances is desirable; transferable skills from Data Domain experience are acceptable.

• Knowledge of Veritas Access platform or other object storage platforms used for long-term backups is preferred.

• Experience in writing low-level backup designs or configuration documentation.

• Some exposure to Azure backup and Hybrid backup architectures using NetBackup is desirable.
