We are currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Vascular Sonographer or Vascular Technologist for a short-term contract to support our vascular services. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently performing and reporting on a full range of vascular ultrasound examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and report on vascular ultrasound scans including:
- Carotid duplex
- DVT studies
- Arterial and venous mapping
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) screening
- Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) and Toe Brachial Pressure Index (TBPI) measurements
Requirements:
- HCPC registration (or equivalent professional body)
- Proven experience in vascular sonography
- Ability to work autonomously with high clinical standards
