We are currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Vascular Sonographer or Vascular Technologist for a short-term contract to support our vascular services. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently performing and reporting on a full range of vascular ultrasound examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and report on vascular ultrasound scans including:
  • Carotid duplex
  • DVT studies
  • Arterial and venous mapping
  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) screening
  • Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) and Toe Brachial Pressure Index (TBPI) measurements
  • Work independently and efficiently within a clinical environment
  • Ensure accurate diagnostic reporting to support patient care
  • Requirements:

    • HCPC registration (or equivalent professional body)
    • Proven experience in vascular sonography
    • Ability to work autonomously with high clinical standards
