The Threat Intelligence Product Research team develops new detection capabilities through correlation and analysis, embedding Threat Intelligence into security solutions. We are recruiting a Principal Security Researcher with deep expertise to analyze telemetry, design detections, and work closely with threat analysts to automate threat actor tracking. Our focus areas include threat intelligence-based detection, identity, cloud apps, and Microsoft Cloud technologies. Qualifications Expert experience leading cybersecurity research projects Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, C++ Experience with large datasets and query languages like SQL or KQL Strong interpersonal and communication skills Other Requirements Ability to pass Microsoft security background checks Experience with Microsoft Cloud security research, threat hunting, and detection Experience in building threat detection logic for security products Proficiency in production-quality coding, preferably in C# and Kubernetes Responsibilities Design and develop detection capabilities based on threat intelligence Identify threat actor activities and automate detection processes Benefits include healthcare, educational resources, product discounts, savings, parental leave, time off, giving programs, and networking opportunities.
