PR Executive (Wine)

A new role within the Hatch Mansfield Marketing team, responsible for generating top quality editorial PR coverage for the Hatch portfolio across relevant wine specialist, consumer lifestyle and trade publications. Working both directly with media contacts and via specialist PR agency. Responsibilities Reporting to Senior Consumer Marketing Manager within the Hatch Mansfield Marketing team, the scope of the role includes: ·Preparation and implementation of the annual PR plan, co-ordinating input from key stakeholders ·On-going liaison with external agencies on outsourced PR activity and projects ·Measuring and tracking PR results, producing coverage reports and reporting back to Brand Managers and key producer contacts ·Writing press releases and other media-friendly copy ·Hosting press at events, tastings and on visits ·Responsible for annual awards/competition entries The role is office-based with flex and there will be occasions that require you to be out in trade. Standard working hours are 9.00am – 5.00pm (9 am to 4.00 pm Friday) with half an hour for lunch. The nature of the job will require additional time to be worked outside of these hours and some travel will be required as part of the role. Experience and skills We are looking for an excellent communicator with good English writing and proofreading skills, highly organised and capable of multitasking to a high level and to deadlines. The ideally candidate will have strong networking skills, ideally with good existing contacts within UK media, experience or knowledge of the drinks industry and the following key attributes: ·Self-motivated, action-orientated and enthusiastic ·Team player.
