As a Class 2 Delivery Driver, you will be supported with a 6-week induction and support from in-house driver training teams. You will like to be an early riser, as your shift will generally start at around 3.30am. You will enjoy plenty of autonomy, loading your vehicle with bakery products and accurately picking orders from delivery notes or an electronic device.
Your knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation will be key for a smooth and safe day. Our drivers deliver to multiple customers each day, so we need you to provide a quality service that develops strong relationships and exceeds expectations.
You will work a defined 4 on 2 off pattern including weekends, with a typical week sometimes being less than 43 hours. At Warburtons, you are more than a driver! You load your own vehicle, ensuring the orders for your customers are correct.
Basingstoke Distribution Depot is proud of our One Team culture, distributing freshly baked products to our customers. Our drivers pick and deliver to West London from Watford to Croydon, including Central London as far as Battersea, Fulham, and Bayswater.
