A exceptional private hospital based within a beautiful area of Central London is looking for an experienced Head of Surgical Services to join their great team.
- Valid NMC or HCPC pin with no restrictions.
- Relevant experience in surgical setting including Theatres, Recovery and Endoscopy.
- Evidence of involvement in project management.
- Experience of quality improvement, audit and standard setting.
- Proven management and leadership ability.
- Demonstrate professional leadership and management across all theatres, endoscopy and recovery departments.
- Provide oversight in relation to use of equipment, processes and training and competency of staff working within the Minor Procedures Suite in OPD.
- Develop Policies and Procedures that ensure patient safety and quality agenda are in line with the Hospital’s policies and procedures, and staff accept ownership of these.
- Identify personal training objectives in line with annual personal development plans.
- Manage trials of theatre equipment and consumables in accordance with hospital policies.
- Work alongside the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Team to review medical devices incidents across the organisation to improve reporting and learning from these.
