We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC 5-Axis Programmer to join our Precision Engineering customer based on the South Coast. Working with Powermill software and Heidenhain-controlled Hermle machines, you will play a crucial role in producing complex precision components for Motorsport, Automotive and other exciting sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- 5-Axis Programming: Utilise CAD software to program, set, and run 5-axis machines.
- Machining Expertise: Work with a variety of metals, creating complex parts to high tolerances.
- Tooling Decisions: Select and create tooling and work-holding solutions independently.
- Quality Assurance: Use manual CMM and other measuring equipment to check work.
- Team Collaboration: Provide feedback, communicate effectively, and thrive in a team-focused environment.
- Time Management: Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, busy factory setting while maintaining precision.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in 5-axis programming and CAD software, preferably with Powermill.
- Familiarity with Heidenhain-controlled machines is preferred.
- Strong ability to set up, program, and operate 5-axis machines.
- Proficiency in using manual CMM and other measuring tools for quality checks.
