6 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are seeking Production Operators available to train on the 1st shift for about 3 months before moving to the 2nd shift to set up and operate CNC equipment. Hours for training: 6:30am-5pm (Mon – Thurs) (probably 3 months) leading to Regular Shift: 4:30pm – 3am (Mon – Thurs) Pay Rate: $18 – $20/hr plus shift differential when on second shift No experience necessary; training provided for willing candidates. Must read and write English. Position Responsibilities Operate and verify the quality of work on a variety of saws involving close tolerances. Perform routine or repetitive operations meeting quality and production standards. Create labels using computers. Run routine operations on various saws. Work from drawings, specifications, and Traveler instructions, sometimes under supervision. Suggest process improvements to enhance operations. Maintain tooling to manufacture parts to specifications. Conduct quality checks with precision measuring devices. Lubricate and clean machines as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work area, following safety rules and practices. Follow company, department, and quality policies and procedures. Communicate job-related issues to the Area Lead. Maintain a positive attitude and promote teamwork. Perform multiple operations as required. Perform related tasks as assigned.
