About Us Aberdeen Cyrenians have provided front-line services and care in the North East for over 50+ years, empowering vulnerable and socially excluded people, to overcome their personal challenges, make informed choices and move towards positive outcomes, promoting dignity, inclusiveness and equality throughout communities. You can find out more about our organisation and our impact at www.weareac.org About Wernham House Wernham House is a residential and respite care accommodation service for adults who have alcohol and substance use problems and mental health issues.

It provides care, support and accommodation for 17 individuals, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a dedicated team of Support Practitioners. Job title: Relief Support Practitioner | Wernham House Responsible to: Team Leaders and Service Manager Responsible for: Volunteers Hours of work: This role offers flexible working including mornings, evenings and weekends Salary: Β£12.60 per hour plus annual leave allowance SSSC registration level: Practitioner Required qualifications: A qualification of N/SVQ3 in Care, or equivalent or the willingness and ability to attain this within five years. Main Responsibilities: Lead and participate in the provision of a high standard of person-led care and support for service users in their own homes, in line with individual care plans and risk assessments, organisational policies, national standards, codes of practice and legislation.

Communicate effectively with service users, families and multi-disciplinary teams, record appropriate care notes and create a safe, positive and enabling environment.
