Andesite Partners has been exclusively mandated by a fast-growing, privately held global energy services firm to appoint a high-calibre M&A / Corporate Development Associate. This is a rare opportunity to join a business at the heart of the energy transition — combining the ambition and pace of a scale-up with the financial firepower of one of the world’s leading sovereign investment funds. With its first acquisition completed earlier this year and a strong global pipeline in motion, the company is expanding its in-house M&A team to accelerate its buy-and-build strategy across key international markets.
The Role: Working directly with the SVP of M&A & Corporate Development, you’ll play a hands-on role across the full deal lifecycle: from origination and market mapping through to execution, integration, and long-term strategic planning. You’ll have direct exposure to senior stakeholders and a tangible impact on the future shape of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of M&A transactions: financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and deal coordination
- Conduct detailed strategic assessments of acquisition targets and new market opportunities
- Prepare high-quality internal presentations and investment papers for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, ESG) and external advisors
- Track industry trends and competitor activity to help shape growth priorities
- Contribute to refining the business’s long-term growth and capital deployment strategy
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2–4 years’ experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, or private equity
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Demonstrated interest in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial services sectors
- Self-starter with high professional standards, sound judgement, and commercial awareness
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
- Backed by one of the world’s most respected long-term investors
- Momentum: first deal completed, strong pipeline, and appetite for scale
- Real exposure to senior decision-makers and strategic direction
- Join a dynamic, collaborative, and expanding team
- International scope with a flexible base (London preferred; Dubai considered)
